Nellie McArthur Gubler family papers. 1849-2007.

Collection includes Nellie McArthur Gubler's personal, family, research, and religious papers. The bulk of the material was compiled and organized by Nellie Gubler, but some McArthur, Cottam, and Jarvis family history work in the collection was arranged by Nellie's mother, Emma Jarvis Cottam McArthur. Other materials, including journals, correspondence, and family photo albums, were created by Gubler's parents and grandparents. These materials date between 1849 and 1930. Gubler's materials include correspondence, journals, family history work, photographs of family events and vacations, handwritten notes, various publications, memorabilia, and ephemera. The collection also includes historical information in scrapbooks and research notes on the Santa Clara Ward, Santa Clara and St. George cities, original settling families in Southern Utah, and Southern Utah public schools. These materials date from 1908 to 2007.

Nellie McArthur Gubler (1908-2007) was a genealogist, local historian, and community member in Southern Utah. Nellie McArthur Gubler was born on May 8, 1908 in St. George, Utah to Moroni and Emma Jarvis Cottam McArthur, the oldest of nine children.
